God is one, known by different names and understood differently by different cultures: humanity is one, waves of one sea, leaves of one branch, fruits of one tree; and religion is one progressively revealed to carry forward an ever-advancing civilization by the universal educators including Krishna, Moses, Zoroaster, Buddha, Christ, Muhammad, The Bab, and Baha'u'llah. It is our lack of understanding the meaning and implications of oneness and our prejudices that hold us back from realizing this reality underlying all things.

No, because that would be giving in to monotheistic dogma.
Polytheistic religions often assume a group of creators; atheists do not assume a creator at all.

Well, buddhists don't believe in a creator and neither do atheists, so that might prove a bit of a problem ...
edit: and I know Buddhism is an atheistic religion

No, I won't agree. Read the OT, did not God tell His people how He wanted to be worshipped? Read 1 Sam 22. It is clear.
Now, Jesus came down from Heaven and established His Church......ONE Church, and He gave us the New and Everlasting Covenant. He told us to live the Gospels, and keep the commandments. He placed Pope St. Peter as head of His Church on earth.
Who are we to tell God that we want to establish our own 'church' with our own laws and rules?
The Faith and Burger King.......we can't have it our way.

No I would not agree with that.
There is no evidence to show the existence of a creator.
