So I had this huge crush on this girl for the better part of a year. Thing is my confidence was horrible, I couldn't flirt, I couldn't just ask people out. It was little pathetic to say the least. Anyway my best friend knew I liked her and in his greatness tried to coach me and help me out. Anyway it failed, I still had a crush on her up to the day I started my first real relationship with this other girl. Anyway thats over and I'm done with her. But as a result I'm a much more confident person now. So I've started to flirt with her and I know any minute I could ask her out and she'd say yes. Here comes the twist though, my friend, the one who helped me deal with my feelings before, has developed a serious crush on her since I introduced the two of them.
No heres the thing, my friend, is, a bit of a manwhore... He dates girls without any real discernment he just likes sex too much. And this girl is a bit of a prude so them dating would be horrible. So how do I tell my friend whats up?

Since there is nothing officially going on with your ManWhore buddy, just tell him that you are, and have been, still interested in the girl. That sort of puts it back on him - what kind of friend is he? Will he back off because you say that you are interested in the girl? If he would go ahead anyway, then you can, too. Loyalty cuts both ways.

The facts are that you know your friend, and you know how you feel about this girl. I would think that you would tell your friend that has develop a crush on this young lady that his focus is not to love her, it is only to have sexual relations with( you have .(you can say that in a nice , you know his history.
As for you...you should present yourself as a kind gentleman that his may purpose is to make her your princess and that you don't want her to ever hurt. Just play your cards right. If you tell her about your friend and you have not told your friend anything what does that say about your character.
Just remember it is for the girl to make the decision not you two guy. Be the man. Tell her how you feel. Tell your friend the truth about how he is. Good luck

Tell your mate to back off, she is still your crush and you are going to make a move. Then make a move fast before he does. So what if he falls out with you, he knew you were interested first.

well, i used to be like that. i used to be shy and all til i started dating alot more. if i was in a situation like this one, i would prolly go and tell the girl about him to warn her what might happen. juss to let her know that if she was to date him,stuff could happen. and then i would ask her out before your friend too. so that you get the girl first.
