I think he deserved the win!!! He led over 100 laps and stayed out of trouble; only 3 cars had no damage at the end of the race. I love to hear a Christian thanking God on National TV. It would be wonderful if he could upset Carl Edwards for the Busch Series Championship!!!!

Because of David Reutimann's win I have converted to Christianity and am now building an ark in my backyard. Praise Jesus!

I think it is great--David is a young and rising superstar--On the same note:Jeff Gordon was one of the recent drivers who Thanked God after each race he won and some Fans didnt Like that. But Nascar Races always start with a prayer so God is involved!!! They say prayers before each of the 2 tracks here in my home state that I race at. A driver who isnt ashamed of praising God and being a Christian is a Great influence on everyone!!!!!!

I was so happy for David, it wasn't even funny. It's about time he got a break. Good things happen to good people. I honestly cannot think of a more humble and deserving guy, and I can't think of a better "celebrity" (although he'd argue with the fact that he is a celebrity) or athlete for kids to look up to. A good Christian, family values, the love for his wife Lisa and daughter Emelia, his dedication to his job, and his treatment of his fans and friends makes me that much happier for his success.
Wait till next year...we'll see the Aaron's Dream Machine in Victory Lane more often, and hopefully the 00 and the 44 UPS there in Cup.

Congratulations to David Reutimann!
Why would I care about his religious affiliation though?

Hey lil sister, I agree its a great thing. I'm not that into Nascar, but I think its a good thing he has strong Christian values, and he is a good man for thanking God.
