i want to find the answer but in texas sales tax

Sales taxes are not uniform throughout the state. Multiply the price by your local rate expressed as a decimal. For example if the local rate is 8.25%, multiply $85 x .0825 to get your answer. If the rate is 7.75%, multiply by .0775

In most areas, the sales tax is 8.25%, part of which goes to cities and part to the state. I'm not really sure how much to which.
