Here's a star for your depression

Happiness, the best, is being the closest one can to God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost. That way when things happen that some people put in the negative, followers of God stay in the positive. Seek and you will find.

Happiness exists sure. We all have happy days, hopefully more so than sad days.

Joy! Now joy is truly rare. At least for me it has been.

I believe happiness is a momentary thing. No one is happy all the time. Even people who have all the material things life has to offer can be unhappy most of the time and disatisfied with their life. I think you have to find what makes you happy in life. Unhappiness is not necessarily a bad thing. It can cause you to seek out new things, change things in your life, and find contentment in places you never thought to look for it.

Happiness is a choice rather than an external event.
There are many unhappy people who, from outward appearances, have everything they should need to be happy.

It exists but it comes in waves, from time to time life has to remind us what it's like being miserable, so we would price happiness at it's true value

Happiness exists and is meant to be eternal. God created us out of love and joy to return to such through Christ Jesus.

Truly and honestly, this is what happiness is to me:

Happiness is knowing that you have truly arrived in the knowledge of who God is and where you stand with Him. With that knowledge you never have to wonder any more about which religion, which God, who to listen to, or where you are going after you die.

It gets better; there is also nothing anyone can do about it. Because if you had what I m talking about, the Holy Spirit lives in you and keeps interacting with you in your life.

An illusory feeling brought about by a rush of chemicals in your brain. It is transitory in nature, and can occur independent of any event which precedes it. It exists, but is meaningless all at the same time.

I think it is in the eye of the beholder. What YOU think is happiness is may be something that has little value to someone else.

I also think it exists. Just not within everyone's grasp.

I don't know anyone truly happy with themselves or their situation. Happiness can't be forced and isn't down to luck,i guess it's your perception of a situation. For example if i was eating a bar of chocolate,i'd be happy. But that's momentary,on the whole i'm never over the moon with myself and anyone who say's they are is deluded!
