Im making cupcakes for the first time today and am kind of clueless :)
I was wanting to know, is it safe to put the paper cupcake liners in the oven?
I was going to put the cupcake liners in the muffin pan and fill the cupcake liners with the batter.
I just wanted to make sure im not making a mistake doing this.

You take the pan, put in the liners, put in the batter and put them in the oven. You'll be fine. Good Luck.

Yes you would want to make use paper liners. Bakers use paper all the time to keep their baked good from sticking to the pan. I know you may think they could start on fire, but in an oven you are not cooking over a flame, ideally . . .

The idea is to cook with a hot tempeture. that is why you preheat the oven. If you have ever noticed the element turns off when the oven is up to temp and only will turn on slightly from time to time to keep the temp. Besides the paper would have to some in contact with the element to light and that wont happen! Good question though!

GOOD LUCK MAKING THOSE MUFFINS!!! -BEN

Here are some more tips for making muffins:

TIPS FOR MAKING MUFFINS:

--Don't ever butter a cupcake liner, DO spray with no-stick canola oil cooking spray for easy removal, even on the edges.

--Fill standard-size cupcake liners 2/3 (1/4 cup batter) to 3/4 (1/3 cup batter) full, depending on recipe instructions.

--Preheat the oven 10 to 15 minutes prior to baking.

--Watch cupcakes carefully to avoid overbaking.

--Use the toothpick in the center test for doneness. In most cases, if the toothpick comes out clean, it's done and if cake sticks, bake a little longer.

--Cool cupcakes in pan 10 to 15 minutes, then turn out on rack to cool completely.

--Cupcakes are best consumed the day they are baked.

--You may freeze most cupcakes, unfrosted, for up to three months.

i might desire to disagree with maximum folk here, i don't think of the individuals in Israel will choose for cupcake, the powder-waiting-blend cake plus the guy made butter cream with shade would not do plenty in Israel,
