of course its possible, just talk to the preacher about that part. ( that way he skips the ring part in the ceremony ) people do it more than what you realize, when you love someone, the rings should be the least important things. all you need to know is that you love each other. i wish you the best of luck. God bless

Yes. Rings are not required.

I once saw friends marry in a church wedding, where they exchanged Bibles instead of rings.

Yes, at a friends wedding, the rings were lost and couldn't be found at the time, but the ceremony went on.

Of course. Rings are not a requirement. When my aunt got married, they weren't allowed to exchange rings during the ceremony as it was not a religious ritual.

The rings are a "traditional symbol" of the marriage vows and union and are NOT a requirement --- for there to BE a valid wedding !! They are SYMBOLS or "tokens" of the marriage and in that --- are dispensable !!
By law there simply has to be a license, vows before witnesses and a legal conductor or administrator OF this "legally binding union" for it to be considered legal and binding WITHIN the law !!

I am a photographer who has done literally hundreds of weddings within my career and have learned more about them than I EVER set out to know !! ☼

I just did a wedding where the bride and groom exchanges ear rings, it was different for sure, but really fit the couple. You do not need to exchange anything......but your vows. Blessings, Chaplain Debby

I GOT MARRIED FOR THE SECOND TIME AT A CIVIL CEREMONY WHERE THEY DONT ALWAYS MENTION THE RINGS AND IT IS NOT OBLIGATORY TO EXCHANGE BANDS ,
WE GOT SO CARRIED AWAY WITH THE CEREMONY, SIGNING THE REGISTER, POSING FOR PHOTOS ,WHEN WE GOT OUTSIDE WE REALIZED THAT WE HADNT USED THE RINGS SO THE RINGS WERE EXCHANGED ON THE STREET OUTSIDE THE CIVIC CENTRE WHERE WE MARRIED
THE ANSWER IS YES YOU CAN MARRY WITHOUT RINGS, I HAVE A WEDDING CERTIFICATE TO PROVE IT

Yes, they are just a symbol.
My fiance and I were thinking about exchanging silver and turquoise cuff bracelets made by Cherokee artisans instead of rings.

Yes, it is. I should know because my hubby forgot to bring our bands to the ceremony! Our pastor said dont worry, the rings are not necessary to make the marriage valid. (We ended up using my engagement ring and my dads band for the ceremony. ) You could just say the vows and sign the license!
