(he passed in 1986)..I particularly like to fly fish and see the fish surface as he strikes the lure...Now it's been about 25 years or so since I been fishing because I can hardly bear to watch the fish gasping for air..what do you think Jesus would say about this?...I know a number of his disciples were fisherman..Thanks.

I had a very fun time fishing at the Sea of Galilee one time. If you ever get to Israel, try doing that. It is such fun to picture what it would have been like to be there with Jesus and the apostles.

We caught fish for breakfast and by evening watched the waves get stronger, and thought about how, when Jesus was in the boat with the disciples and the waves picked up, and Jesus stood up and said "Peace, be still".

Have you ever read the famous "fish" story in the New Testament. Jesus fed thousands with fish and bread.

There's a difference between gathering food and torturing fish for fun. I think Jesus would have known and cared about the difference.
