i whonted to get a in dash dvd player from my truck (replacing the factory raido) and i am good with hooking computers and tv and stuff like that. but i have never done enethng in a car. i would just like to save the $100 on insulation if i could do it myself

i have a 98 gmc sierra. its the same raido used from 96-03

make sure if you do do this that you use the wire harness adapters and dash install kits for your truck and you should be ok.

What kind of truck do you have? In most cases, it's only slightly more difficult than replacing the radio.

DON'T override the safety feature. Watching DVDs while driving is illegal and deadly.

My nephew was killed by some idiot watching a movie.
