Do the job you were hired to do.

You will get paid for it and your new employer deserves your loyalty, and descretion and good work ethics. Good for you, is this your first real paying job above minimum I mean? You'll love it just don't go crazy with all that cash just joking enjoy today for who knows what tomorrow brings.

Assuming you mean career:
If you are not good at "office politics" do good work without grumbling and greet more duties with a smile rather than grumbling.
