who He grants his miracles to? Why if two families pray for the same thing, He will completely ignore one of the families prayers, and grant the other? ...How does He choose which family to answer? Why does He single out the other family? Are they not good or righteous enough in his eyes? Did they not pray hard enough? Does he not love them enough?

Excuse me. I am not praying for myself. I am praying for my Mom because she just got diagnosed with stomach cancer, and I am praying for her and hoping that she gets better. This has nothing to do with me. I just hate to see her in pain, and I personally don't understand the way that God decides who to cure, and who to just let suffer in pain. Maybe I'm selfish, because I can't stand to see anyone in pain, and I just want to understand more of how prayer works. And please don't judge people by a mere question that you know no reasoning behind.
