I have the distinct impression that we already have invaded Iran. Truth be told only sanctions have been taken and we are waiting for the results. I believe just as with Iraq (both currently and the Gulf War) there was no doubt months prior the attack.

If only we had the wisdom and courage to stop meddling with and antagonizing them they would likely have no nuclear ambitions, at least none relating to weapons.

No we will not invade, only bomb their military from the air. That is all that is needed. We will let their citizens overthrow the mullahs from within.

Invade? Was not - and is not - the lesson of Irak enough? You don't want to invade them, you want to do an Hiroshima on them. That would put a stop to a whole lot of nonsense.
