Real to some but not to others. Also there are so many different Gods that not everyone who believes in God will agree on the existence of other Gods, so there is no real answer to this question.

This question is the same with "Is order or dis-order real or not?" Everybody knows that the God of the Bible is the God of order. Any dis-order is not from God but to the opposing devil or satan. Man is a verbalizer but inside every human being is his cruelty and nobility. The greatest liars of all time are the God deniers who can not even help themselves to be sensible enough for good moral success in their lives. No sensible person who will put his future in an statistical monstrocity. Althrough you deny that there is order in the universe, but you can not deny yourself honestly that your whole body constellations are there naturally in order.

We don't know for sure, and we never will. It's all meaningless speculation, and how people choose to interpret evidence and scripture. I simply came to the conclusion that, under reasonable evidence, god most likely doesn't exist, and there are other alternative theories that don't require any supernatural creator to explain natural phenomena.
I view god as a way to explain away all the things we can't yet understand. It's conforting to know that we have answers about everything; that's why people invented gods.

If you believe something, then for you it is real, and exists for you, thats all that matters.Religion is only about being able to live together and tolerate each other.Unfortunately no race on earth practises true religion ,of any type or variation,as borne out by the constant wars and bloodshed in the name of mammon. The constant carping ,criticism, intolerance, bigotry and elitism by those of us that are truly inferior, makes me feel like pressing the button to end all human life and do mother earth a favour. However,i shall let you all live for the moment cos i,m nice really(i think).

No, the idea of God doesn't make sense to me and I think the existence of something has to be proven. No person who believes in God can do this.

The Buddhist version of the god is close to the truth (god is all). The others are way off.

After all the lectures and philosophizing about God and explaining about his nature, after all the moral teachings in order to live according to the ways of God, there is still a widespread doubt of His existence. It only shows that no amount of Theological studies can lead us to the true knowledge and love of Him at all. In fact, God hides Himself from presumptuous and proud minds and approaches instead simple, uneducated yet pure of heart common folks.
I have personally seen Him and tangibly experienced His delicate touches. So I can say with conviction that He exists! Why others havent experienced Him, and there are so, so many of them, it is a serious issue that each one must have to deal. Such a waste of time living this life without even having known Him who is their Father. I only hope they won't leave this life without experiencing His loving touches.
I just wonder, how have organized religion influenced the morality of a present-day society as we see it now; could they have failed to bring the people to the true knowledge of God?
What society is, as we see it now is still the same as in ancient times. God's messengers, the prophets would leave behind well-established cities to dwell in the wilderness, and enjoy the reward of His Divine Presence.
For those who do not believe in the existence of God, I think they only say this because of a frustration that those who they expect to give witness on His existence have utterly failed to fulfill this very fundamental duty.
Now, you young people, believe me, He does exist. Know Him in this life before it becomes too late. It is your sole responsibility. Your finding heaven depends on you alone. Be conscious of a reality that is beyond what you can touch and see.

GOD is more real than all forms of existence but the problem is that he is nothing like his creation and so such question arises when an individual thinks GOD to be like his creation. GOD is wellexalted above his creation and he cannot be seen physically but he can be realised through his glorious signs in his creation by the spiritually awakened human heart and then you will find him to be to be more real than all forms of existence.

Yes He is! Oh, Ken D, you said you can't see Him.. You can feel the wind, but you can't see it. True? Same with God. You can feel Him, but you can't see Him.... Yet. I know for a fact that He is real and that He will come and take us (Christians) home! And we will see out Father and Savior! That I know!! One day you will see Him.. If you believe or not.. "Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of all!"
