If God is so mighty...........?

Question

If God is so mighty,how come he allows the evil to exist?Why do
innocent people die?If He is so great how come the terrorists killed so many people and He allowed World war 2 to happen?That can mean two things-He cant prevent evil and evil is stronger that Him,or that He dosent care about us.If He is so Great why dosent He invade Hell and kill Satan and his demons?Is Satan stronger than Him?I am not against God and I am not a atheist,but questions like this and this video puzzles me

We sicken and die not because of Gods inaction, but because Satan brought sin into our world. Before God can end death He must first remove sin, and since the entire universe is watching, God must allow all to witness what a universe governed by Satan would be like. Only after all are convinced that God is fair and truly patient, can He remove sin and death and secure the love and loyalty of his children.

If God had destroyed Satan at the first sign of rebellion, what would the faithful angels have thought?
It would have appeared to them that either you do exactly as God says or, POOF, you no longer exist. That notion would not have fostered the spirit of love and trust God desired from his faithful followers. No, we must all suffer through the process of allowing Satan to show his true character and pray that the time to end the misery is near.

Would you prefer all humans to be utterly controlled by God? Are you willing to be the first on your block to give up your "free" will and submit to God?

I suspect as most people do, you would bridle at the idea of f being totally controlled by God as we would program a robot or a computer. You would say "not much of a God if He can't take risks!" You would accuse Him of being either a bully or a coward.

Satan is defeated already. He lost the battle when Christ rose from the dead. The gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church.

You give only 2 choices - evil stronger than God or God doesn't love us.
You ignore the third which is that God loves us so much He died for us and overcame evil through Christ. You ignore the fact that the evil done by men to men is done by them and not Him.

Satan is used by God to accomplish His ultimate purpose; that the Church will be complete and in Heaven and safe at the last Day and for eternity. If you want to be there just ask Him for forgiveness and you will be accepted. The God you think of as God is not a tyrant. He wept over Jerusalem and died for the sins of the whole world. You must make the choice and it will be *your* choice for ever.

I don't have the time to answer the film point by point, but I will touch on one area that was back to back in the film

why do children get sick. God allows us to live our lives without his control, and part of that is getting sick, whether you are a child or not. You don't get divine protection (like the antheist want) and go your own way. Equally, Christians died horrible deaths sometimes. God is not amused or excited about this either. Death is the last enemy to be destroyed and cast into the lake of fire. But even when we are doing God's will, we sometimes die. It does not make God weak, it makes the actions of the christian and the one who killed him contrasted.

Jesus was totally in God's will and he came to pay for sin. We are not in total compliance with God's will and we wonder about our deaths or others?

the question of evil in the world is understood if you look at the fact that there are many christians doing good work, and many in masks pretending to be christians. this latter group is not any different than those not pretending to be christians doing good things for others,

but what of those who are preditors who kill rape and murder. They are self serving and again, the world, the population of the world wants to go their own way and have nothing to do with God, And then the question, if God is so powerful why.


in the kingdom of Jesus, there will be a cop on every corner and will prevent men from criminal acts, thought police if you will. men will have to do right because the consequence will be too high. Right now, in the privacy of your home you can murder a family member or even a stranger. In the kingdom that will not be allowed and you would be stopped as you were thinking it.

First off, I'm not going to watch a video that puts doubts in the minds of believers. What people don't understand is we all have the power to stop satan! We need to have unity in Christians in the power of prayer to combat satan and his armies. We need to spread the good word of God and try to convert as many as possible before it is too late. Satan isn't just sitting by; he is the one putting doubts in our minds and heart. He laughs each time someone curses God for the evil ways of the world. Try cursing satan and rebuking him and stand strong in your faith. Bound together we can fight all these horrible events that plague us day to day. Jesus is coming again and the way the world is progressing backwards, it will be soon. We must be prepared. Pray and turn your doubts over to Jesus and ask Him to show you His wisdom. Blessings!

You may be talking about the Christian world, but the Jewish opinion of Hell is different. It is more like a place to repent for your sins before you go to Heaven. That's another way we see G-D does everything for a reason. Do you deserve to go straight to heaven if you were a terrible person during this life?

Big Person, always there, talks to us, feeds us, takes care of us. We're naked in a wonderful Eden, safe, and all the animals and plants are ours.

Big Person shows up less frequently, talks to us less, we find other Big Persons to talk to and Big Person 1 tells us not to talk to them. Not safe.

Big Person shows up rarely, tells us instructions, expects them done. We rebel a lot and get upset, then punished.

Big Person shows up one more time, tells us some rules of life, and leaves. We are sad. Wonder why Big Person has abandoned us.

We whine, we cry, we blame Big Person for bad situations we get ourselves into. We didn't listen to advice, or some of us didn't. We suffer. We blame Big Person.
