Last year, all year I was in love with this absolutely amazing boy. Just to give you a quick sketch of him, he was extremely gorgeous, superbly kind, an amazing athlete, and really, really smart. We went to a tiny school (only twenty-five of us) and I wasn't the most out-going person in the world...anyway, it became clear that he "liked me" or whatever, and so we started going out. I loved it--i felt infallible. We went out for a little more than a year. I think we had ultimate trust in each other, I think I was really in love, or at least with the feeling that he gave me, of being perfect, beautiful etc. But then, in the beginning of last summer, it had to be sort of broken off, as I was going away all summer, and he was going to be at boarding school when I got back. Anyway, It wasn't all that hard this summer, because I was away from all my friends and his friends, but now that schools started again, I'm a wreck. I'm heartbroken and think Im still in love. What do I do??

Find a hobby, it'll keep your mind off him. Spend time with old friends. Meet new people. But don't expect the healing period to be short, quick, and easy. It'll take time, and a lot of growing. Take this time to figure out who you are. You'll learn a lot and even be able to find out what exactly went wrong in the relationship.

Good luck.

I haven't experience heart brOKen but I have seen a way to get over a heartbreak, by letting yourself busy and get along with your friends. Do not let your heartache become your weakness but your strength to face a new world without him. Don't worry because time will also heal your heartache...heheh...I just want to help but if I didn't it's ok.... at least I have the effort to help ...

I'd love to tell you there's a concrete way to get over love, but in reality there isn't. Only time can really mend a broken heart, but it doesn't always completely heal.

Still contact him, that what I do and I'm in a 'long distance relationship' right now. (Also when I gat heart broken, I invite all my friends to come over so we can have some fun, and Chocolate always makes things better)

~Good luck! :-)

Live well and boldly. The tides of time will wash away the worst and something else will come to your shores.
