Does that mean you don't share the same beliefs?
You really should talk to him about how far he believes things should go and why.
Different Christians will have different personal boundaries, but all sexual activity is out! As far as holding hands, hugging, kissing, etc, it is down to how far he feels he should go morally and how far he can go without being tempted to go further!
All the best for both your futures!

there are non=christians that feel there should be physical boundaries as well. just wanted to add that. however... holding hands.. a hug or kiss.. hello ,,goodbye.. that is not full blown necking. should be good. keep both feet on the ground. all clothes on. hands to self. and you should be fine. watch your verbals as well. people get tempted that way as well. a common respect for each others person.

ok this coming from a pastor now....
the real question you are asking what can i get away with.. and its normal...
ok so let see, since you are a christian i am gonna speak out of the bible...
the bible speaks of fornication alot... that is adultery and pre marital sex...
see you have the spirit of god dwells within you and will convict you when you are wrong, but if i can give you advice...
kissing is fine, but as soon as it goes further than kissing its not right.. your body is your husbands and you will never know till the day you marry who he is... when a guy starts to have wondering hands i say its wrong...
i myself have been in a relationship where we weren't sure where the boundaries are, and it ended up in a sexual relationship, but then again god is gracious and will forgive you
so my advice is stay with kissing, but nothing more. no hands is nessacary when kissing, ao keep them to yourselves and respect each other.. i always say to the guys treat your girl the way you want someone to treat your daughter one day...
so yeah temptation is tough, but it takes mature people to say no when it comes to that...
if you have any questions you can e mail me: evanr@pneumatix.co.za

Holding hands is fine and perhaps a peck on the cheek but otherwise it might be pushing it depending on his denomination. Also try not to wear skimpy clothing. Gambling, getting drunk and praying to other religions are big no nos. Finally as a general rule christians should not marry non christians (2 Corinthians 6:14) so try to attend church with him.

Allah:
There is no Scriptural basis for what you just said.
Basically:
No sex before marriage.
ALL humans have to be very careful how far they go in a physical relationship, before they get married.
Lust is Satan's most powerful tool, & NOT something to be taken lightly!
Jehovah: what's your Scriptural basis for what you said?
Foosie: well said!

Well if you're not a Christian, he shouldn't even be dating you. That's a sin against God.
Be not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion has light with darkness? -2 Corinthians 6:14

no sex while not yet married. kissing, hugging, cuddling and holding hands is alright but avoid petting that will lead to sex.
see you happily married soon....
