In order to be a Good Muslim you should follow Mohammad's (PBUH) example... so therefore you SHOULD marry a 6-year old girl and consumate the marriage when she is 9... Right???

In all religions.....
It's time to realize that the teachings were all written in a different time....We need to take into account the modern times and the laws we have now....time for religions to get a modern makeover! Remember, that the old ways were good in the old days, but don't fit into our ethics and morals of today.
For example: I am Pagan. A lot of the rituals practiced in the the old days included sacrifice of animals or humans. Today that is NOT what we do....instead we offer symbolic (coins, feathers, food, etc.) offerings while still having the same effect.

Any consummation between consenting persons under 16 years of age is rape. Therefore it does not matter what religion you are. This is the UK , the first and greatest democracy ever. no..follow his teachings..it isn't said that ew must follow his life entirely to the word..then we couldn't use modern means of transport,tv,radio,computers,calculators,live in buildings etc..it's common sense as to what you must and don't have to follow..
