[edit] Story of the king of Himyar
Ibn Ishaq writes of a conflict between the last Yemenite King of Himyar[12] and the residents of Yathrib. When the king was passing by the oasis, the residents killed his son, and the Yemenite ruler threatened to exterminate the people and cut down the palms. According to Ibn Ishaq, he was stopped from doing so by two rabbis from the Banu Qurayza, who implored the king to spare the oasis because it was the place "to which a prophet of the Quraysh would migrate in time to come, and it would be his home and resting-place". The Yemenite king thus did not destroy the town and converted to Judaism. He took the rabbis with him, and in Mecca, they reportedly recognized Kaaba as a temple built by Abraham and advised the king "to do what the people of Mecca did: to circumambulate the temple, to venerate and honor it, to shave his head and to behave with all humility until he had left its precincts." On approaching Yemen, writes Ibn Ishaq, the rabbis demonstrated to the local people a miracle by coming out of a fire unscathed and the Yemenites accepted Judaism.

In Deuteronomy 33:2, we see Moses peace be upon him predicting that GOD Almighty will execute His Holy Judgement in the city of Paran by 10,000 of Believers:

"And he said, The LORD came from Si'-nai, and rose up from Se'-ir unto them; he shined forth from mount Pa'-ran [Mecca in Arabic], and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them. (From the King James Version Bible, Deuteronomy 33:2)"

We also read about the same prophecy by Prophet Enoch peace be upon him:

"And Enoch [Idris in Arabic, one of Allah Almighty's Prophets peace be upon all of them to the people of Israel.] also, the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard [speeches] which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. (Jude 1:14-15)"

Now, according to the Islamic history, the city of Mecca (Paran) was liberated by Prophet Muhammad's 10,000-men army. The irrefutable historical proofs for this are located in this article: The story of the 10,000 Muslims who liberated Mecca (Paran) in the Bible.

Now, since these prophecies were foretold in the Bible's Old Testament, I would like to openly challenge any Jewish Rabbi or Christian Priest or Minister to answer the following question for me:

Where in the Bible do we see any Prophet executing the Judgement of GOD Almighty specifically in the city of Paran (Mecca, the city that Abraham took Hagar and Ishmael to)?

If Muhammad who liberated the city of Paran (Mecca) with 10,000 Believing Men (Saints) wasn't the one who fulfilled this Biblical Prophecy, then who was that Prophet?

Wasn't Muhammad through the Divine Religion of Islam the one who ended the idol worshiping of the 365 gods, and ended the brutal slavery and the torturing of women (burying daughters alive at the age of 4 was the pagan Arabs custom)?

Didn't Muhammad bring the Arabs from the total darkness of polytheism and evil to the Light of Worshiping the One True Living GOD Almighty and associated no partners with Him?

Wasn't Muhammad fruitful, and a true man of GOD Almighty?

Again, please visit The story of the 10,000 Muslims who liberated Mecca (Paran) in the Bible.

The proof that the city of Paran is Mecca. See the most recent archeological discoveries that prove that the desert of Paran is located in Saudi Arabia and not in Egypt's Sinai desert.

19 And therefore I inform you that there is no doubt that God's Messenger is a light from God and it will bless almost all creation of the Lord.
20 He is assisted by the soul of knowledge and counseling.
21 is soul of wisdom and strength.
22 is soul of fear and love (of God)
23 is soul of guidance and moderateness
24 blessed with soul of love and mercy
25 soul of justice and piety
26 thankfulness and patience to such an extent, that he has got the biggest share from blessings of God which are bestowed on all creature of God.
27 How blessed will be the age when He (Messenger of God) will come!
28 Believe me that I have seen him in all aspect and paid respect to him. And I have respected him as all prophets have seen him.
29 Because God show them the soul of his messenger as a prophecy.
30 And when I saw him I became contented and said, "O Mohammad God be with you, and (may God) make me to serve your cause." (Bible, Barnabas:44: 19-30)

Disbelievers will never believe the truth as Jesus told:

Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) says, as it is informed in Bible Luke 16:19-31 about the similar situation that the people who do not believe. They will not believe by any miracle.
19 There was a certain who was clothed in purple and fine linen and faired sumptuously every day.
20 But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate,
21 "desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 "So it was that beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried.
23 "And being tormented in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 "Then he cried and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.'
25 "But Abraham said, 'Son remember that in your life you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented.
26 'And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.'
27 "Then he said, 'I beg you therefore father, that you would send him to my father's house,
28 'for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.'
29 "Abraham said to him, 'They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.'
30 "And he said, 'No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.'
31 "But he said to him, 'If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they persuaded through one rise from the dead.'"

We don't believe in Mohammed because he denies core christian teachings about who Jesus was and what He accomplished for men. That would mean that if you can find an apparent prophetic fulfiment elsewhere, that seeming confirmation would not cut the mustard.

1 John 5:8-13 says that a person coming in the name of the true God, now Jesus has been revealed, will not call Jesus other than who he is - he is not just a prophet, but the Messiah and Son of God, He was crucified for us; he wasn't changed with Judas. If you think all prophets were treated with respect and honour, look at the biblical prophets - the prophets in Elijah's time were hounded and murdered, Jeremiah was despised and mocked.

Also Mohammed is quite worldly. He would put to death people who wouldn't accept his authority. He shouldn't have married children and taken them to the marriage bed at pre-pubescent age. He should have freed his slave-wife Maryam. Although Old Testmament characters had low standards like that often, with Jesus a new level is presented. Paul, for instance, was a violent man who killed people before he converted (references to this are in his letters and in Acts, where he was called Saul, prioe to conversion). After conversion God removed that violence from him. So the violence in Mohammed is just not acceptable for a man of God in this dispensation which began with Christ's ministry.

Unlike many Christians responding to your question, I will give you respect (and a star) for studying your texts. Keep going and keep asking questions. Here are some things I have found out about the relationship between our two faiths. In Arabia at that time, some of the Arab tribes converted to Christianity, for example the tribe at Al Hira (now Al Anbar in Iraq) under the Christian Lakhmid Arab king Herta al-Hirah Abu Kabus Numan ibn al-Mundhir. These were not western Christians, they were eastern Christians and followers of the Syrian Orthodox faith who spoke the Syriac dialect of Aramaic. The same is true in the Yemen which as you rightly say was ruled by a Jewish king. He was called Yusuf As'ar and he reigned around AD 519. All of these Arab Christians were viciously persecuted. At Al Hira they were persecuted by the Sassanid pagan rulers of Persia (fire worshippers) and in Yemen they were burnt alive in their churches by Yusuf As'ar. When the Muslims conquered the near east around AD 640 the eastern Christians were protected for the first time in their history. The form of Islam practised in the days of the Caliphs was far more tolerant and cultured than the form of Islam practised today. Things only started to go wrong in the 10th century AD when punitive taxation was introduced for non-Muslims and the first forced mass-conversions began. Can't you Muslim scholars investigate this question? Is it not reasonable for you to ask whether your faith was originally interpreted differently?

They don't believe what you believe because it's a 'different' religion. It's not that they don't believe he existed because he did, they just don't accept him as a prophet. If you ask me (and you didn't) i think it's all a bunch of BS you both are reading from a book(s) that has been misinterperated (spelling?), ill-written, and misguided throughout the centuries. You're no longer following a god of any kind, you're following a man, or men. If Muhammad was a real prophet, he would not have you praise him so. Shouldn't a messenger of god not be worshipped as he seems to be by Muslim? Anyways, i think your first [edit] up top tells the truth... you say the word "Story". Look it up. You're right. It's a story.

My friend, you've been deceived. The passage in Deuteronomy has NOTHING to do with a prophet. Rather, Moses was talking about things that had already happened.

I challenge you to show me anywhere in the Christian bible where it says Abraham took Ishmeal to offer him up, You can't find it can you, you know why, becaue the promise was given to Issacc seed, & Sarah told Abraham to kick Ishmeal out of the House. Now to answer your other part about mohammed, He was a false prophet.

Deut 33:2 has to do with Moses and 100,000 saints (leaders) from the tribes

it has nothing to do with prophesy.....it is written in the past tense and describes the events that happened at that time......not thousands of years later...

How is it possible that Mohammed's men liberated a city thousands of years before Mohammed's birth?

The verses you quoted are not prophecy of any kind, they speak in the past tense.

Muslim brother,

Christians do not believe as a whole because it is not taught as christian doctrine. This holds the same for islamic doctrine. Islam does not view Jesus as the Messiah because it is not part of your teaching. There are many accounts in the old testament telling of Jesus's coming and Muslims still don't believe he is the son of God.

It is all in what you are taught as doctrine, my friend.

Mohammed as proved himself to be a false prophet and the fruits of Islam make that fact even more obvious.
