One can only imagine the pain and agony of hanging on that cross, hands and feet pierced, bones being pulled from their joints so visibly that they can be counted.what you think about the movie in depicting the torture he experienced for our sins.how can it compare with the real sufferings he experienced.any interpretation please.thank you.

I thank Him that I didn't have to go through what He did to get rid of my sin. I will never know the feeling and will never be able to imagine what it felt like. The only explanation is that He loves us so very much to go through that for us.

I think the movie was pretty close to the actual sufferings of Christ,I suppose that we cannot get it entirely accurate no matter how long we might meditate upon it, but I have read a remarkable book by the French physician Pierre Barbet who spent most of his life investigating the medical implications of crucifixion and the results are very close to those depicted in the movie.

i'm with the first answerer. the book of isaiah says He was beaten so badly He barely looked human. i read an interview with mel gibson not long after the movie hit the theaters, and he said he actually had to tone it down quite a bit so people would sit through it.

OK here's the thing:

1. Jesus did not die on the cross.
2. Nor did he die for your sins, you are responsible for your own sins.
