Lots of women have fibroadenomas- it is fibrous breast tissue, and completely benign. It is important that they take a biopsy to make sure that is indeed what it is though. I had fibroadenomas removed- but it was my choice because they were large, and started to get painful with lots of activity etc. It really should be your choice to have them removed- not his. It is done under local anesthesia, in and out in a few hours. Nothing to it.

I would recommend getting another opinion and preferably from someone that does not share the same office of the doctor you currently see before agreeing to any treatments.

Not necessary, get a second opinion from another doctor.

it is best to have it checked again by another doctor, and it is important that you are comfortable with this doctor... so that if you have questions like this, it can be addressed immediately by a specialist, like him/her. after all, it's what you are paying for... may u be in good faith
