You might. A few years ago a young woman did this. She'd gotten in way over her head in debt and started a website that was just about that: "I just need enough to get flush from debt. Anything I collect more than what I need will be returned." I WORKED. (This was before MySpace and things like that.) I saw this on the news.
There are Lots of people with too much money and looking for good causes for it. She must have been very sincere and very convincing I think... because so many people are so much on guard (rightfully so... there are so many scam artists.) She must also have been sending personal thank-yous and doing a lot of glad-thanking... to earn it.
I saw this at the news. And she was struggling to return or place well the overage... and to stop in the incoming.

there was a guy who took out a full page ad @ nytimes with his last college money that was still not enough for the year but enough for the ad ,,,,,,,asking for just a penny.. he got all he needed for the year and enough extra to further his studies and wrote back to most of the ppl and posted another ad not as big thanking the rest
