Yes,,,

from the very start, life has warned me that no matter what happens, it has a downside and a peak. life is like a game you know....

your the contestant, your given briefcases which handles your decision, you will pick from it but there are 3 helps you can pick from to help you decide on your briefcase, there is "pray to God", there is "family advices", there is "call a friend". they will never be limited, they will always be available on your choices. the briefcases are never ending never out of the stage, it is still there until the contestant give up.

life is been fair for us, the best part in living is being included in it and the worst part is "Giving up".

Life can not be lived on terms of one or another . There are just to many variables. This means that we can live as best as possible under the conditions we are in at that time.

We can on the other hand live without worries. We make worries for ourselves all the time.

I use to worry all the time I don't any more. I have found that most every thing will work itself out one way or the other and in most cases there is nothing I can do to change the out come.

To answer the opening line I have to ask a question. What is fair? To define it is to stay you are being unfair to another person. So we must give to get. The old saying is true "what goes around comes around" be fair and fair you will get.

Live long and Free

Since your're asking in the philosophy section, I'll ask what world view you hold to? Do you believe that there is only a material universe? If so, then there is no such thing as life except as an abstract concept. There are only separate physical creatures that are alive for awhile and then die. If that is true, it makes no difference how we are doing, for everything is meaningless.

If you believe in a supreme being, God, that is the only life; The One Central Life; and that He shares that life with us; then your question is, "How is God treating you?" I would assert that He treats us all with love and mercy.

Do you mean to ask, "How are other people treating you?", then with me, it depends on who the person is that we are talking about. Some people treat me well, some don't.

What I think you really mean to ask is, "How are the trends in your life going? Are things looking up or down?"

You ask how can we live live on our own terms? You can't! And the sooner you come to accept that, the less tension and frustration you will have and the happier you will be.

The wonderful thing is that we can live on God's terms and that His terms are better than our terms. As soon as we stop making up our own rules for how we should act, and obey God's rules, the happier we will be.

God created the universe and it runs by His rules, not the scientists. The scientists have discovered some of God's rules for how He runs the physical universe but they make up a lot of nonsense too.

All of us have a physical body that will die at some time. We all know that, but try to ignore that fact, yet deep within us there is the fear of death. Then also, there is the fear of life. Will we meet and marry the boy or girl of our dreams. Will we be able to get a job that meets our physical needs and allow us to life with the comfort, lifestyle, and status that we desire?

The only way to not have fears about these things is to live a disciplined life and follow the instructions that Jesus and his deciples teach in the Bible. If you follow Moses and the prophets teachings you will do pretty good too. As I am a Christian, I believe you must follow both.

When you live a life according to God's teachings, He promises that he will look after us and supply us with our needs. If you want to do that, I would encourage you to read all of the Bible and to study it on your own. I have found no 100% reliable church or peacher, no matter what they say.

The last thing necessary to not have fears and worries is to train your mind. You need to learn that you are not your mind. The mind is an organ that needs to be trained, just as you have to train your hands and fingers if you want to be able to play piano.

If left to itself, the mind will think all kinds of useless and sometimes erronious thoughts. A good book of instruction on how to do this is, "Concentration - A Guide to Mental Mastery", bu Mouni Sadhu. I and others have followed the instructions in this book and had varying degrees of success at traing the mind.

I hope this has been helpful. I'm 64 years old and spent a lot of my life seeking the truth and seeking God.

I have a suggestion. It all depends on what you do with it. What worked for me is God. I used to be depressed, sleep all day, lay awake all night and worry about my relationship, my finances, my work situation, ect. You name it, it was on my mind. I turned everything over to God. I thank God every day for the blessings in my life. I ask him to help me to accomplish the things I need to accomplish. I cannot even tell you how at peace I have been since I have done this. I noticed over the course of the past three weeks that my attitude has been changing, I have been positive, and good things have been coming my way. I love life and I have a new appreciation for it. It is a wonderful beautiful thing. I hope you try this. Best of luck. God bless!

I suffered as a young child.
Was brought up into a teenager with a stable, happy and healthy life.
Now everything is falling apart.

It was the strength that suffering gave me as a young child; that helps me deal with life today.
Have faith.
Love Life.
Love God. =]
