you can sleep on your stomach as long as you can without feeling discomfort or pain. you WILL NOT harm your baby, please don't listen to those who say you will, that is crazy. baby is WELL protected in water inside you.

All women are different, i only started noticing a very small bump around 16 weeks, but i know plenty of women that get to 6-7 months before showing. At 20-21 weeks ur pelvis is still containing your uterus, the top of which would have reached your bellybutton. You will see it just pop and wonder where did that bump come from. For me it was practically over a week, my husband noticed that the bump entered the room before me lol.
The sleeping on your stomach part will not harm your baby, when it starts feeling uncomfortable or like you are sleeping on a ball or a watermelon then u should stop because you are squashing the baby. You may want to start getting used to sleeping on your side though, it will make it easier for when the bump is big.

depends on your frame as to whether you would be showing yet. I know a lady that was so tiny even at full term and didn't really noticeably show till nearly 30wks but had a normal 6.5pd baby.
sleeping on your stomach might not be the best thing but if you don't have an awkward stomach in the way sometimes its hard not to when you roll in your sleep. soon you won't be able to anymore (i reckon you're one of these women that will all of a sudden 'pop' out!) or you can try laying on your side when you go to sleep with a pillow between your knees and one infront of your tummy to stop you rolling onto your stomach.
best of luck.

I wish my bump showed up so late. My friend only started showing after 6months. It really depends on your build and muscle tone. If your doctor is not worried then it is fine. Don't stress about others, every womens pregnancy is different.
Don't worry about baby. If there is no bump you are not squashing the baby and you would be uncomfortable if you did squash him.
When you do develop a bump they say you should lay on your left side for better blood circulation to the liver.

I had zero weight gain, was running five miles a day, and sporting a bikini with zero bump at 22 weeks and the baby was normal size on the ultrasound. Don't worry it will catch up with you.....At about 25 weeks I put on looser clothes, and I started wearing maternity pants at around 7 months. I am at 36 weeks now and I have really grown in the last six weeks. I am at about a 18 1/2 lb weight gain now. It just catches up with people differently! Be happy that you are so comfortable now....

don't worry about any thing as if there was any thing wrong the hospital would of picked up o it by now & you should be happy that your not showing as this is a good thing as you less likely to get strech marks & will probely lose all you baby fat strightaway now as for sleepoing on your front would not advise it but should not harm the baby just might make you go in lauber early or even bad belly ake if you worryed about wot harm this will cause to your baby just seek your doctors advise or for now my advise would be to you is invest in a long pillow or a V pillow just lay on your slde & pop it under your bump and have a good nite sleep with out going on to your front hope this helps you out

Hi,
i was showing at 3 months and my friends were also pregnant at the same time were not and they were further along than me but then they over took me and then i become the smallest it all depends on you you might have strong stomach muscles.
Sleeping on your stomach i could do that also at 5 months your baby will tell you when you cant do this anymore as it will become uncomfortable so you wont be able to do it so there you go.
I couldnt sleep at 1st when i had to sleep on my back but then when i had him the 1st night i slept on my stomach the next morning my ribs were killing so be warned hee hee.

everyone shows differently. I am 38 weeks and my friend that is 25 weeks shows almost as much as I do, although the doctors have said my baby is small. Also, it is fine to sleep on your stomach until it is uncomfortable for you. Don't worry about it.

i am tall 5ft 10, and my baby didnt start showing until i was about 29-32 weeks properly and i slept on my stomach all the way through pregnancy, it depends on your build and frame. if u imagine the smaller u are the less space the baby has, so it grows outwards quicker, thats what the midwife told me when i was panicking. aslong as the baby was growing fine on your scan i wouldnt worry
