Perhaps use a heating pad or hot water bottle to help ease the cramps. Other than that, there's not much else you can do - it's just an unpleasant fact of life that all us women have to deal with!!!!! Take care Hon!

I used to take Motrin, but still had really bad cramps (even when I took 4 at a time every 4 hours). My doctor recommended Aleeve, and I would start taking about 3 at the start of my period, and that would last me all day.

You can also try using a hot water bottle. If you don't have one at home, just fill a 2 liter pop bottle w/hot water - works just the same.

Another thing I used was one of the bed buddies that has some kind of beans in it. Throw it in the microwave for a few seconds, and wrap it around your mid-section.

The Motrin/Ibuprofen should kick in soon. meanwhile try a heating pad or hot water bottle. At some point during the day go out and purchase a box of ThermaCare heat wraps. They have specific ones for menstrual cramps and they give up to 8 hours of relief. Please read all information before using this product.

Hot water bottle. Warm bath. Keeping your legs up high so that your tummy muscles can relax. Staying the same temperature so that you don't puke. Pain killers. Warm drinks (tea, hot chocolate - not coffee, caffine will make it worse) should help if you can stomach them. not too much, as your womb needs room to do it's cha cha.

Some times we just have a bad crampy month. not fair, but at least we get to have boobs.
