I was thinking about buying a xbox 360 until i heard about all the problems it had disk scratching, overheating and crashing etc. These problems were talked about everywhere after the launch. Are the xbox's being made now in 2007 any better or do they still suffer from the same problems ? Can somebody please answer me.

I have had to deal with Xbox 360 and its issues at store level. From all the different platforms it has the most trouble, but saying that all of them have their moments. Microsoft has been working on getting the kinks out and making sure that their repairs are simple.
The majority of issues happen in the first few days and if you do have problem you can just call the Xbox support line. Just remember like everything electrical keep your receipt for warranty purposes.
