You're right...it wasn't about love at all...it was about power and possession. I was fortunate that it only took me seven years to get completely out of that dehumanizing position.

It is true, it happened once when I was very young and quite naive. It hurt so bad that I never let it happen again. When I walk out a relationship, I never return, even if I want to. Because the danger of being hurt worse than before, is big.

No, I've never had that happen, I guess I've never dated anyone that mean spirited. I was married to "Satan" once and he did try to "reunite" several times, but I think that was all about him not being able to handle rejection.....which hmmmmm you'd think Satan would be used to, not every one wants to dwell in hell.
I have had boyfriends come back around for the intimacy thing; but that's normal isn't it?..........I didn't fall for that either, that just confuses the issue for me anyway.

Yes, yes, yes!!! He asked me to move out cuz we were having problems. Then we decided to stay apart for a month. Well, he would call me when i didn't call him and we would spend time together. It was hard for me emotionally. Then when the month was over he said it wasn't working. I said ok. Yeah I was hurt, but at least I knew it was over. Then he calls me that night asking me to the movies. I stood my ground and said no. The next morning he said he missed me and asked me to be his girlfriend. I gave in. Then we were together another month. He was staying at my place almost every night. We made plans for him to move in with me because it was cheaper and would help both of us financially. So when he is supposed to move in he tells me that he never gave his 30 day notice and that he was unsure again. I ended it yesterday!!!!

No, when I had a problem with my ex girlfriend, we spoke together about our life, the future and we decide to break up.
Anyway, they shouldn’t give them a chance to win them back.

This happened to me three times by the same guy...he's still my boyfriend and we've now been together for over a year.

People like me who has been dumped in the stinking trash bin are in no way qualified for another round of love bliss.

oh yeah. it happens to everybody. but whenever my relationships end I always tell them. "once it's over, it's over, I hope you remember that." Up to date, I've had a few boyfriends try that on me. One about 6 months after we ended and another about a year later!
