were all Moss or horrible defense. I thought they were stupid throws that were greedy yet came down in 6 points. Moss did a great job bringing it down, but why throw into double coverage like that?

It's the receivers job to go for the ball no matter how many guys are covering him. Did Tom Brady just throw those balls up for grabs? Sure he did, it's called having faith in your receiver to be able to come down with the football. Any QB that has a great receiver like Moss is coached to do this. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. With Moss playing the way he is this year I think it's a win-win for Brady.

No doubt it is not an accident. On a Bellichick coached team, Brady would not be taking that kind of chance if Moss and Brady had not practiced that same play dozens of times during the week. When they and the coaches got to the confidence level that it was feasible they tried the jump ball play. Notice that they adapted a totally different set of plays for 5 foot 9 inch Wes Welker. No coincidences on the Patriots. All practice till perfect.

This is the exact reason why Brady is so good this year. Last year he had to make perfect throws in order for them to be caught and a lot of the time they weren't caught anyway. His receiving core was a joke last year and this year they make the other teams defense look like a joke. quite a turn around. This year Brady has confidence in his WR's to throw a ball up there and have them go get it, and that's just putting TD's on the board. The Pats are definatley a force to be reckoned with and I think everyone knows that by now.

You can make greedy and semi-bad throws when you have an excellent WR, because they will fix your mistakes. It's a bad habit for Brady though! I think it's a combination of poor defense and Moss, but I have to say it's mostly Moss.

It was all Moss. Miami had great coverage on him both times.

Kind of sick that Brady is getting credit for 2 great TD passes when all he did was chuck it downfield hail mary style into double coverage.

Moss is a GREAT WR when he wants to be. To bad for the last few seasons he has not wanted to be. That more than anything will be his legacy in most fans eyes.

it's a bit of both. the defense sucks and Moss is Moss. Like Moss has said before "I play when I want to play" and Moss wanted to play that day.

It was a test of what Moss and Brady can do. I doubt Brady will throw into double coverage often:).

Also, if Miami intercepted it, so? It was Miami.

It's funny how last year, right here on Yahoo Answers, people could not stop bashing and slamming Randy Moss, now all of a sudden this year he is some kind of NFL football superhero. Why the sudden 180?

I'm so looking forward to today's game.. and seeing what the Patriots willl do..... Moss and Brady make an awesome team, as do Brady and Stallworth, Welker, and anyone else who happens to be open....

as for being "greedy"..... isn't it the point of the game, to score as many points, as possible... if t's not, then everyone may as well take up knitting...
