not many. Keep them close but don't start feeding them or they will never go away.

the actual saying is KEEP YOUR FRIENDS CLOSE, and your enemies closer, meaning that you can keep an eye on them.

I have about 7 close by:
My ex wife down the street
My friend married to my ex wife down the street
My friend who is married to my ex wife has some snotty @ss children
My friend who is married to my ex wife has a dumbass dog
Mr. Assholia (yes that's his name) who loves to blast his music next door.
The Crowhursts across the street who like to steal my newspaper.
The Quinns on the other side of my house who think they're better than me.

My grandmother and mother used to always say that.
Sure enough its true. That's how I was able to escape from a psycho.
right now I don't have any to my knowledge.
I think , that I can sense it head on, I'm to the point, therefore they don't hang around for the put down.

It all depends on how much dislike the person and how much they dislike you, you may find that you can befriend them in some way or keep up to date with their evil plans.

Mainly one. She is a HUGE backstabber. Everyone knows she is fake - and she can get any adult wrapped around her finger. Stay close or they'll go after you!!!
