It's not the different culture that makes it difficult. It's the guy that makes it difficult for me, anyway!! ☺

Very good question.
It is probablly one of the hardest things to do, at least in the beginning. You have to learn to compromise and respect each other's cutural, religious, social, etc. differences. The fact of the matter is that while it can be hard, it can also be easy. If you find yourself in this situation, get to know more about the culture of your "roommate". That way you are more likely to not offend them. While you will still have differences, at least learning to respect each other and the varied cultures will help to provide an easier living environment.

It’s very hard. It’s been like 5 years already for us and we are still coping with it daily.
But each day is a better day and a better understanding for both of us. We never stop fighting and misunderstand but to me it is good to learn from this way and it make us love and appreciate each other better.
Our culture is totally different and we both from different countries too. It is the West meet East for us and worst is his character is very strong and spoilt by his parents, where I have been thru hardship and I love carefree life.
Anyway, you just got to be really patience, never give up and got to have endless love for each other.
Good luck to you!

It would depend on which country and culture. I could do that with a lot of places, but not one that women have no rights.

Interracial Relationships, all kinds, from romantic to friendship, will work out fine as long as the people involved in it will exert equal effort to make it work..
{I've been into one interracial relationship, you know..it didn't work out not because of the differences in culture but with my own problems}

OBVIOUSLY IT IS VERY DIFFICULT. THE COUPLE MUST BE PREPARED TO MEET EACH OTHER HALF WAY IN ORDER FOR THE RELATIONSHIP TO WORK OUT.
