I have a chain-link fence behind my house and I want to cover it up with ivy. However, it's been difficult looking for a species of ivy that clings onto the chain-link fence. Anyone know of a species that can do just that?

Most any type will work. You may have to give them a little help by intertwining the vines at first. For flowers you may want to consider Morning Glories. Little help is needed there.

Yeah, they don't cling like a Clematis will, but Ivy will grow on a fence, but it must be on the NORTH side of your house.
Ivy needs a northern exposure.
