I ask this because I'm going to get a Xbox 360 and Zune on Christmas or my birthday and since the Zune should have no problem with the 360 as its a Microsoft brand-this should be easy, right?

So I'm guessing I just plug in the Zune with the USB cord and I can put WMA's or MP3's on the 360's harddrive? And I can either listen to them on it or can set them up to play in my games?

5/5 stars for the most reasonable answer.Thank you.

Nope, you can't put the songs on the hard drive. You can only do that with an audio cd and rip them to the hard drive. Just plug your Zune into the USB of the 360 and it will stream and charge your Zune at the same time.

i ought to point a xbox 360. I used to have a ps2 and own a ps3 yet were given a xbox 360 good even as it got here out. i like it for those motives: no longer too severe priced, more suitable suitable recreation decision, i trust like the controllers are more suitable ergonomic, pictures for my area are an similar or maybe more suitable suitable then ps3, and the web journey is spectacular. also a complicated stress and on the spot controller is coated. effective, the PS3 seems cooler and has outfitted in wifi (meaning no on the spot community adapter and ps3 would not require a on line club), although the 360 for my area outshines the ps3 with its decision of video games and spectacular pictures

you can plug it into your xbox and play the music off of it in game or use the shareing service in the zune program (or Windows media player 10) to stream from your pc but to do what you sayed you need to burn your music to cds and rip them into the xbox but you cant upload to it... also the xbox 360 will charge your zune
