Is there any website for checking a laptop is refurbished or not?

I bought a laptop from a company and I want to know is it refurbished or not. my laptop is inspiron series from dell company.

look on the serial # if it has a "R".

if you bought it from dell its prolly new but if you buy a dell from anywhere else then its a refurb and if the keys are ugly and shiny then ists not refurbished... it's flat out used!

however there isnt a carfaqs for pcs
