I've had 3 of my own so far...I've never been afraid to date. And I always enjoy holding others newborns. Always makes me want to have another.

Yes I'm afraid that I might crush the bones and internal organs. A baby's bones are very fragile.

You know, it's funny...I have three kids myself, but when someone else puts their newborn into my arms, I get a little freaked out...I know they can't "break," but they are just so...unformed (for lack of a better word) and vulnerable that I kinda freeze up for a minute but I relax after a while.

I love holding babies of all kinds. My ex was afraid to hold our kids. He was afraid that they were going to cry.

no way! i have done it so many times in my life time...as long as you hold the head and back securely and gently, its all good. holding a new baby is like holding a piece of eternity for just a brief while...

I'm not afraid to hold them, but I don't like bathing them. They're all slippery and floppy and I always accidentally get water in their ears.

Good question for this time of day in US mate!!!

I can hold them properly - but it's been a while so I would be extra careful.

No, I never was. I was 10 when my mother had my baby sister so it was only natural when I had my own children, I just knew instinctively how to.

No, out of all my roughness, when I hold a baby it turns into a pillow of softness.

Yes I'm scared I will somehow make it cry or hurt it just by holding it.
