There is no "magic bullet" for this stuff. Modulate your personality and express it through your wardrobe. Good luck.

be yourself, if the conversation of a particular group isn't your thing , circulate until you are comfortable with a topic
listen, add to (best be stuff you're familiar with) and basically loosen up and enjoy yourself - mate...... there's no real rules
clothing or otherwise that outdo people wanting to know more about YOU!

Be relaxed don't talk to much or be to shy. There is a balance of being conversational but not annoying or something. It all depends on who you are and where you are.

talk about everything and no dumb jokes...jeans and simple shirts are fine...open the doors for the ladies and offer to refill their drinks..
