Lots of us believed all year. They led the AL East since April 18th. The only times I personally didn't believe were the two or three games I attended that Gagne appeared in and fortunately on each occasion they had accumulated too big a lead for him to blow. Certainly not only did people believe, they expected the Red Sox to win this year.

Who really cares, the players have ruined baseball, over paid cocky players like Manny make people hate baseball, i don`t know anyone who is even watching the world series, and all those Boston fans who come out of the woodwork when there team is wining, i think i`ll start wathcing football more action less time and a team sport.

It just goes to show you what money can buy you. The third highest payroll in baseball, solidified by fierce hitters and strong pitching. If only Ortiz and Ramirez weren't such egotistical meatheads, I think that they would be more universally liked. But what's wrong with Ramirez' batting helmet, did he dumb acid on the B because he hates Boston?

what do you mean no one believed, do you watch sport stations all they talk about is the redsox. i hate the redsox. i know they have a good team, but i can't stand watching them.
