In actuality this is what should've been expected. The PAC 10 is great conference, thus talented players want to play there. The sign of a great conference is like that of a great team. When your worse is capable of beating your best, it is sign of depth. Any team in the PAC 10 is capable of winning on any night. The problem is that these teams beat eachother and their records don't show the talent level and depth these teams have. The SEC is the same way, when Georgia can beat Florida it is a great for the strength and overall depth of a conference. The bigger issue is that because the national championship game consists of the teams with the best records(usually undefeated)teams in deep conferences, such as the PAC 10 or SEC, that are almost impossible to go through undefeated, have little to no chance of playing for a title.

Not at all! All good things must come to an end. The Ducks have been hunting for a few seasons.

Mike Belotti has done some excellent recruiting and it is paying off. UCLA isn't doing that bad in conference, today was their first lost.

USC, frankly doesn't have the QB's to be great. The Leinart & Palmer era spoiled everyone in Trojan land.

Don't really like the PAC 10, but for my hubby Go Ducks!
