Everything doesn't have to. (And often things let me down -but that is not to say that everything has expectations tied to it) But the things that do, or even exceed them, those things earn my respect and admiration!

Frankly, yes.

I'm a very pleasant person, but I nonetheless insist on the same level of quality from people as I readily provide in my work to others.

And I believe that the world would be a better place if more people did as I do -- refuse to tolerate mediocrity or lackluster work.

No. If you live your life with expectations, you'll end up being disappointed. Rather, it's better if you work towards fulfilling your own expectations.

Absolutely not
and, it's a damn good thing
for, if it did -- there wouldn't be a smear of stuff around that is fairly commonplace now !! And, then THAT would probably hack me off !!
So, it's a great thing that things DON'T have this restriction -- I've learned to ------- expect it !!

i have no expectations, i accepts things as they come.
