It was about 3 weeks ago. I got up in the middle of the night and visited the restroom when the hiccups started. It lasted for 15 minutes or so. I fell back to sleep and I was still hiccuping.

Would you believe me if I say I never get the hiccups? Didn't think so. I seem to get them at random , maybe once a month or so, on average. It does not seem to matter whether I have been drinking alcoholic beverages or not.

It was yesturday at work--I was helping a really cute military dude out and started to hiccup in front of him and tried to talk and would get 2 words out and hiccup...lol...it made him smile........I was embarrassed

I get them almost every morning right after I get up out of bed. It's so annoying!
You're right, Martha, what is up with all of the thumbs down? I'm sorry I get the hiccups so often, but I just do. I guess people are offended by that!
