Reasons not to post: when you have nothing relevant to say, when you have a troll following you or when you are drunk and lonely seem like good times NOT to post...
Reasons to post: you have a great, original question, you've got a great answer, to connect with other, like-minded individuals & you're bored, etc.

Anything that looks strange like someone asking about your password, since it might be someone who wants the information for internet fraud. And no answers for people who are trolls - the ones who are just winding everyone else up.
