Let's break it down. The Rockies would have to beat Jon Lester on Sunday night. It is conceivable. He and Cooke have similar ERAs and Lester depends on the breaking ball, which could fail him at 5,280 feet. So that brings up a rematch of Beckett vs. ....we can stop here. Beckett does not rely on the curve ball. He has a nasty one, but he would be serving steam heat on a cold Denver night if he were to have to pitch game 5.
So, sorry. The 2007 Rockies are not the 2004 Boston Red Sox. The Rockies had a great run even getting to the World Series. But the Red Sox are a better team. And no, I don't care if you call them the Red Socks, the medias rojas or whatever. They are going to fly home to Boston either Monday morning or Tuesday morning with the World Series championship.

I think the Rockies have lost the series already.
The time off killed their momentum.
Pitching has really hurt the team......
They could win tomorrow.....but your going to need to beat Beckett in Game 5 and Schilling in Game 6......which will be extremely hard.
Also, offensively the Red Sox have been coming at all angles....Their rookies beat you tonight with an outstanding performance.

No. The Rockies will lose tomorrow as I believe they are starting Beckett. Love him or hate him, Josh Beckett is a God.
I'm saying this and I live in Denver... I was at tonight's game... so I'm not just some rambling socks (nice one by the way) fan.

I wish you were right...but I think you are delusional beyond belief. The Rockies will be lucky to send it to 6 or even to 5 games.

For the rockies to have a chance at winning they needed to win today, and because they didn't they are screwed becauase their is no way they are going to win 4 straight. although i would rather the rockies win, it isn't going to happen.

well if i had to choose which one i wanted to win i would say colorado. ima huge cubbies fan but unfortunatley they couldnt make it all the way :[ well yeah boston was so humble and a few years ago i was really rooting for them to win.. but now its like they think theyre "all that" just like white sox fans. seriously shut up. who cares that u won the world series a few years ago? no one. we only care about whos gonna win this year.
