i hear wrestlers all the time saying that they bust there A$$ traveling and entertaining the crowd, i would really like to know what is the hardest part of the job?

1- they make millions of dollars
2- they get to travel to different countries and the cities in the USA
3- they get to stay at 5 star hotels with the hot tub and everything, some wrestlers (HHH, Taker, Cena, Batista) get it for free
4- they get laid every night,

what is so hard about that? you get laid, you get millions of dollars, you become famous, buy a huge house, nice cars, what else could be better?

1. Not the lower card guys. Wrestlers like Shelton, Holly, Moore, Noble, Venis, all the lower guys don't make millions exactly, and the lot of them won't last long enough in the WWE to move up the card, or will never get a shot.
2. And be miles away from their family.
3. Again, not all of them can. Mick Foley used to sleep in Best Westerns and small hotels in order to save crucial money, and that's even when he was a main eventer.
4. And look at what that did for Batista.

All this, not to mention the pain and injuries their bodies endure from wrestling most of the days of the year.

Think about it this way....

1. You spend very little time with your family and friends. If you're married or have a girlfriend, you might not want to go around f**king someone else every night. So no, they don't get laid all the time. You miss the chances of hearing your kids' first words or even their birth for that matter.

2. Some of them make a lot of money. Some don't. And yes, they have big cars...but no time to use it. All the money is there with very little time to be put into good use, because wrestlers are on the road most of the time.

3. Travelling isn't easy, my friend. Read the book 'Are We There Yet?' Wrestlers travel all the time. Some hire cars and drive for miles. Some miss sleep. Some are too tired yet they have to be in another city right on the dot.

4. Superstars wrestle more than once a week. They are not allowed to take any painkillers or drugs. They bruise and get hurt like everyone else, yet they have to be fit to compete in less than 5 days (house shows etc).

5. Some superstars are ignored for years and years until they get their big break. Lower card wrestlers don't get millions at all. They make ordinary amount of money because they are not booked for matches very often.

6. There's always the risk of getting hurt. Some injuries can take your career...and life...away. Some will leave to paralysed (Droz, for instance). The bigger burden is that you have to keep your opponent safe. One wrong move could injure him so badly that you'll cost him his livelihood.

So yeah, being a wrestler isn't all fun and games. They do it all for the fans, and you have to respect that. That's why it's not easy being a wrestler.

The professional wrestling business is extremely hard to endure, especially WWE. It is not a cakewalk.

1. This is not true. Only the highest wrestlers, mostly exceptional workers, make this much money. A lot of wrestlers struggle to make half of that, and possibly less.
2. They do, but traveling away from family is not that great. Also, the schedule is exhausting, as you have to wrestle publically 2-4 tmes a week. Barely any wrestler in teh WWE gets a break.
3. Few ever go to 5-star hotels, and why would they? Just like other athletic clubs of lower stature and with limited endorsements and funding, cheap hotels and motels are the way to go.
4. Getting laid every night is not good, especially if you wrestle excessively. You are constantly in pain from matches, tending to injuries, and trying to stay rested for the next show. Also, a lot of wrestlers have families prior to being professional wrestlers in the WWE, so "getting laid" every night is not a good idea.

Wrestlers would be foolish to buy expensive things like cars, especially if they travel extensively.

The key word is "SACRIFICE".

Wrestlers sacrifice their bodies, family, heck just having a regular life.

Sure some of the top dogs make big bucks, but then there's hardly any time to enjoy it. Life on the road is tough, lonely (being away from family) and tiresome.

Don't be fooled by the glitz and glamour of what you see. What goes on behind scenes is a whole other beast.

Just appreciate the sacrifice these wrestlers take to entertain the masses. They give up a lot to do what they do.

Rock On!!

Lets see dummy, if you are married, you are on the road 300 days out of the year, Yes they do travel to different cities all over the U.S. and all over the world, but they usually get there, perform, and go to the next city. They do get nice hotels, probably spend about 5-9 hours in the actual hotel to sleep and do their business. You wouldn't last a few months you big dummy (besides you probably aren't half as talented or athletic as they are). Did I mention they have no health care plan.?

- Your in a new city almost everyday.

- Some guys barley have anytime to work out.

- Your on the road constantly. There is no off-season.

- Autograph signings, renting hotels and cars, and a lot more sh*t you dont want to know about. Even though I hate John Cena with a passion, he has to be the hardest working guy right now next to Bow-tista.

you need to know how to do moves right or you can kill someone or yourself! the ring actually does hurt when you land on it. it might look like it bounces, but it's wood on top of springs. you have to be in good shape and be able to take pain. like the match that just happened with matt hardy. he really did get his face ripped open by hitting rey's knee brace. he acted like it was part of the match and kept wrestling.
