I am a white male with short hair. If I don't use product it lays down. I use two products Dep hair gel Sport ultimate hold then I spray it with Rave 4 ultimate hold hair spray. But make sure your hair is pretty damp.

I have short hair and use American Crew Hard styling gel. Its really good and I just leave my hair alone if I'm not using it.

I know a lot of spanish people at my school and they wear their hair in spiky styles, and they black hair gel, but i wouldnt recommend you use that cuz it can turn white.I hate seeing boys with that white stuff in their. but me beinga female i say for spiking hair use a hair foam, or bed head

i use the gigantic bottol of orange hair gell from the dollor gennerl and i am a short haired white guy and it lays flat without gel

The same stuff used in the movie "SOMETHING ABOUT MARY" :)~ That stuff will spike your hair really really nice and hold it up for daaaaaaays!

male white/filipino--i use got2beglued for spiking my hawk and when i want to have a more professional look i use crew fiber to smooth it down..this is the kind a cut i have
