I already paid, I have hot water and gas but today it got cold outside and i wanted to turn on the heat and it won't turn on. Is there a switch or something by the hear furnace in the basement?

u need to light the pilot on the furnace, the directions should be pasted on there as well, it's intimidating cuz i always think i am going to blow myself up! but it's really easy fear aside, u may want to hire someone to come light it for u and check the furnace for leaks and stuff but that will cost u about 100.00 bucks!

Your going to need to light your furnace.... or maybe you should have a heating and air person do it for you just to be safe.

may need to light the pilot....if your not sure call them up..
