A year ago the Indian government banned child labour in hospitality and in domestic work. How effective has it been? and where has it left children and their families? Isn't it time the government answered a few questions?

It's my understanding that use of child labor is still very much exploited in India. Even after threats from the international community concerning child and women abusive labor practices, it still occurs way too often.

Yes it is high time the government answer some questions about this.

Child labor is still rampant. Some kids sent out of jobs became pickpockets. Others visit big Hindu temples where food is offered free.
Only in Andhra Pradesh a sizable number started going to schools while parents receive state government loans at the lowest interest.
