Microsoft Portable Gaming System Info?

Question

Does anyone have any info or speculations or even a possible time frame of Microsoft making a portable XBOX or something? That would be sweet, portable Halo 2. Oh and graphics power and abilities concerning Live and media player would be nice, or just put what you think will happen and when, and why that makes sense.

I remember reading, Microsoft doesn't want to get into the portable game market, mainly because Nintendo has nearly a Monopoly on it already
