In India the Native American Indians are normally know as Red Indians.

In India people normally do not know words like Injun or Cherokee.

Red Indians,
American Tribles
Aztec
Maya people
West Indians

or just tribles cos Europian American white people cant be seen as tribles

Param is correct. Very serious and stupid mistake of Colombus. Even Indians dont like to call Native Americans as Indians. Indians most deserve for that name than Native Americans.

Well it's shown just the way the character says it "Indian". Unless it's dubbed or written about then the word used in India is Red Indian. On another note there is anAmerican-Indian movie co-production underway called "Red Indians" - Guts & Glory

We in India know them as "Red Indians". Its all Columbus' fault. Created confusion where none should exist. I believe Native Americans do not like that term...

Depending on the political correctness according to the recentness of the production, they use the name of the tribe in question; Sioux, Cherokee, etc.
