I think it would make it really hard if both my parents where gone before I was 35. I lost my dad when I was 20 and I have missed his guidance, his protection, his help, his input.
If you have any aunts or uncles maybe it would help to get in touch with some of them. If not, how about cousins? If none of those either, you might need to make your own family. There are plenty of people out there who need to be part of an us too. Find them and love them, cause that's what's missing, the love. You know, church might be a good place to find all of that.

I have a very different way to look at death. It is not to say that it's not a sad thing to lose anybody; however. it is part of the whole.
Life is living and dieing. The part that is not dealt with as we grow is the death part. When I was seven a boy in my class died and I did not know why. I was told that God had him come home to him. In no way did I know what that meant.
As I grew older and have had many close people die (Father too) I have my own idea on death.
Death is the completion of one life. With out death we can not call it a life. The cycle must be complete.
I hold all that have gone before close in my heart and to me they are as much alive as they ever were. I may not be able to hold them and feel the warmth of the living "them" ; however, they live with in me. I can experience them when ever I want too and I don't feel sad I feel alive with them and all that they were every day of the life I have left. Hopefully my life when it to becomes complete I will be hold the the hearts of the ones still living. Live Long and Free
As I was writing this someone told to me a quote from a movie about dieing.
When we come in to this world we are crying and everybody is happy. When we leave we are at peace and everybody is crying. Just a great thought.

It is odd, but my grandparents lived until 89 ad 95. During that time, three generations were born and we felt, my cousins and myself, we were the younger generation, even though we had children. Then the grand folks were gone, and shortly thereafter the parents, and suddenly, about 11 years, are parents died, and then when one of the great grand children (of my grand parents) married, we realized we were the younger generation.
Honestly, I think it is better that they lived a while longer. I hope to live and see my grand children and maybe even the great ones.

Well although my dad is still alive
I pretty much lost him already and I am 19.
Right now I am just trying to get my life straight
so I can make my mother proud before I loose her one day.
But hopefully by then I would have showed her how much she was worth to me.
And that she did a great job on me.
:)
