Go for the Honda

If you phrases your question which is better for the US economy, the answer is clearly Honda made in Ohio if it is really made in Ohio, not just assembled there, and the Chrysler really made in Mexico. Since both companies are own by stockholders from a variety of nations, there contribution the national income comes from the wages, but the wages are paid for producing the parts as well as the assembly. I do not know for sure, but I suspect that the Honda still has a lot of Japanese made parts, and the Chrysler has mostly US made parts.

Honda. American workers will profit from it--MANY American workers. They EACH spend the money based on many family needs--many lunches, gas for transportation, etc, it will be taxed as income, 'sales taxed' when spent, taxed again as interest earned in investments. [With Chrysler, only a FEW Chrysler top execs profit, there's a limit to how many shoes, lunches, houses, and kids' clothes those execs can buy, and the execs will be keen on tax avoidance!] I say Honda! If in doubt, lean toward the working class & you won't go wrong!

Whichever one you like better in terms of quality and price. Reward excellence. You are not doing a favor to either American workers or to American companies by encouraging them to be substandard and incompetent.

A REAL American appreciates excellence no matter where it comes from.

(The answer then, is Honda -- at least until Chrysler LLC gets its s--- together).
