State of mind? Being an adult just means you have learned to take responsibilities more seriously and have matured more mentally. I don't remember ever hearing you had to give up the childish part. It is a matter of knowing when it's appropriate for the two and using the correct one for each given situation.
Learned... some may be taught by parents and others showing responsibility, but mainly it is when a person feels it is time.

You'll know when you are planning ahead and not just for the here and now. Being an adult is a learned behavior to some degree. It's just a natural progression.

Although, I'm 39 and I'm still waiting for the time that I will feel like an adult.

It's just a feeling you have. You know longer do the things you used to do. You don't see things the same way. You just grow out of it and never look back!! I like being at an adult state way better than a child state!!! You understand things better!

I don't know about a learned behavior, but when I first walk into my workplace, I have to be an adult, or when no one else cares to step up to the plate.

It might be something you acquire when you need to.

i could advise counselling, in case you have been married in church refer to the pastor. in case you have been married in a civil ceremony touch your physician for the call of a marriage counsellor. you're the two appearing fairly infantile. in basic terms simply by fact she takes something that belongs to you does no longer advise you do an identical to her. i could advise you examine your monetary enterprise money owed(extremely in the event that they are shared) and circulate funds to a separate account she does no longer have get admission to to, then refer to a chum or kinfolk member some place to stay quickly, then %. a bag with something that has own cost to you and circulate there. with a bit of luck there at the instant are not any babies are in touch then it ought to get sticky, yet advise the counseling if she says she would not prefer to bypass. Then open the account and discover yet another place to stay. Sounds practically such as you reside in a nursery instead of an person enjoyed ones. till issues are truly of soppy cost furnishings and garments can get replaced. She would not look the type that in case you left she does no longer at present throw all of it away and that i've got self assurance that's what took place on your glasses.

changing state of mind is not a one night thing. it is a gradual change that can last more than ten years! you will slowly become more mature through learning(hopefully!) and looking back, you'll see how much you've grown.

interesting question. honestly, i'm not sure how to answer it. i guess the process involves two parts; growing up (becoming wiser, learning from your mistakes) and their environment (uncontrollable circumstances). i never thought of it as a learned behavior. but, maybe it is.

when you stop being self centered, you can care about others and plan for the future and not focus on the "right now "in life.

I know people who are chronologically adults, but that's about it.
