During 1800s, Anthropologists had a problem as to
how to classify human beings. One researcher
proposed the expression "intelligent animal".
After advanced studies on monkeys, it was dropped.
Another researcher proposed "tool using animal".
After observing some animals making wooden tools
and sharpening them with knife like stones, it was
dropped. Another researcher proposed "weapon using
animal". A decade ago, a rare film was shot by an
amateur in an African forest. One short monkey was
hit very badly by a big monkey. The short monkey
prepared a wooden knife using stones and hid it on
the top of a tree. After some days, when the big
monkey came to attack the short monkey, it ran up
to the tree for the weapon it has hid and killed
the big monkey. The one thing that the
anthropologists found with any group of human
beings, even if they did not have contacts with
the out side world for thousands of years, has
spirituality with some form of religion. So, man
is a "spiritual animal" if you want to call him
that way.

The Upanishads say that "Manush" (human) was so
named because he has "Manas" a mind higher than
that of the animals which realizes the divinity in
creation. It was present since the creation of
human beings. Religion is the characteristic
feature of most of the human beings. It was not
attained through reasoning using mind. Illiterate
tribes located in inaccessible forests also have
religion. It is as eternal and and as unchanging
as the Almighty. Disbelief by a few will not
affect it.

Religion is not a blind following. It is a sub-consciously driven
group ritual. It calms the 'collective unconscious' mind. The
religious culture brings unity and belongedness among the followers.

by the way u are asking this question it sounds like u are asking whether no religions were started and not whether it wood be agenst the law and other things that cause religion to have bin made at one point but i will answer in both ways

it there was no religions then it will be a neutral place there WILL BE less wars but in terms of a over all society it wood not make a difference because religion dose not play a part of society in prescient day

if it was bade then there will be chaos because people will be fighting and acting upon there own beliefs and annihilating other religions to make only 1

No, I don't think it would.

I used to think religion was a cultural 'divider'. A means of separation instead of togetherness.

But after a bit of research, I think that following a religion with sound guidelines built around loving and respecting eachother is a good thing in ones life. It sets a good foundation for us.

But people choose to use it as an excuse to commit sin. It's disappointing that man has got it so very wrong. I believe real Christians are peaceful people, and real Muslims are also peaceful people.

We as people are so narrow minded we judge based on religious views. That is where we get the concept of religion totally wrong. This misconception is and will continue to be the destruction of man.

Without religions, not a problem! Without the belief of a super power above all, that could not happen. Because this is a natural thought inside everyone, whatever it may be, all have a belief that is stronger than them! You see, the first authority is your mother... and it goes on with teacher, boss and laws, etc...whether you believe or not, it's there indoctrinated in you that there is always stronger than you!

No, religion is a good foundation for ethics.

It's been said that even atheists send their kids to a Christian school so they can grasp the concepts of right and wrong at an early age.

Plus, I think it's always good to believe in and have faith in something. It gives you hope and motivation during tough times.

People seem to think that they need religion to find God, but I have found that this is not the case.

ABSOLUTELY

Religion is the root of most evil.

Wars are started on the basis of religion.

Terrorism is based on religious views.

The church is the most corrupt form of government established.

I am a historian and hold a PHd in History from Oxford. I have spent many years researching the effects of religion in the history of the human race.

I would suggest you do your own research and come up with your own un-persuaded theory on what you believe religion.

The problem with most religious advocates are that they are unwilling to drop there views and open their minds to science, history, and truth.

Please, believe in yourself and your own views, and not the corruption of religion!

P.S: Anyone who disputes this theory is ignorant unless they can provide REAL SCIENTIFIC evidence to their views.

No.
Even if it was banned, against the law, and you would be killed for your faith, people would still hold to their religion. it is the most powerful belief we have. And without it, we would all have no purpose.
